A love of painting and drawing since childhood has led artist and attorney Chuck Blackard, III, down a lifelong creative path. Born in Waco, TX, and living early years in Florida, Alabama and Mississippi with his family has shaped Chuck’s unique perspective and artistic style. Mr. Blackard studied under artist Carl Sublett at UT Knoxville and graduated with a fine arts degree before earning his J.D. at the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, AL. The artist’s preferred medium is acrylic with subjects inspired by life surroundings. Chuck Blackard has been a featured artist for the Franklin Art Scene on several occasions. When not in the courtroom or creating a new painting, Chuck enjoys quiet time spent along the Forgotten Coast of Florida with his wife and their dog!
